Directions to the mine

We are located approximately 50 miles West of Delta, Utah, a small town 130 miles Southwest of Salt Lake City.   Our quarry is located at Antelope Springs, just around the bend from U-Dig Fossil Quarry.

From Delta travel West on Highway 6/50 for 29 miles (mile marker 56).  Turn Right onto a maintained gravel and dirt road.  Travel 20 miles on this road, and please use caution as there are dangerous curves about 11 miles up, and again at approximately 15 miles, as you head into the mountains.  Continue on the main road as it passes the U-Dig entrance (the road will curve to the left, and then to the right).  Turn right at Antelope Springs and drive up the hill and all the way to the end of the road!  The roads are well maintained and any vehicle can get here. Four wheel drive is not necessary.

**Please carry a spare tire and jack and don’t forget to fuel up in Delta – we recommend the Shell Station on Main St in the middle of town.
